Obituary for William Frank Gleason

William "Bill" Gleason passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Bill was born and raised with his seven brothers and sisters in Cleveland, Ohio, and remained a loyal Browns fan his entire life. He was a career Marine, bravely serving his country in two tours of duty in the Vietnam War and then as a Marine Corps recruiter. After retiring from the Marines, he worked as a mechanic for the United States Post Office. He was an avid do-it-yourself home remodeler and wood worker.
Bill is survived by his brothers Keith and Lynn Gleason; his sister Joan Norman; his son Wayne and daughter-in-law Corinne and their three children Juliet, Isobel, and Vivien; and, his daughter Nikole Gleason Berg and son-in-law Lars and their three children Liam, Aidan and Evangeline.
Graveside Service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, October 29, 2012 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, El Paso, TX with full military honors.
