Mass of Christian Burial for Abraham Lopez Silverio, 57, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 3 pm, Saturday, July 22, 2017, at St. Celestine Catholic Church of Grand Saline with Father Victor Hernandez officiating. Interment will follow in Woodside Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Mr. Silverio passed away July 17, 2017 in Mineola. He was born July 15, 1960 in Mexico to Eleazar and Crecencia Silverio Lopez. He had lived in Grand Saline for the past 25 years and was previously employed by Hawkins Nursery. Abraham had worked for Tree Town USA for the last 14 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister. Survivors include his girlfriend, Emilia Hernandez of Grand Saline; two sons, Oscar Lopez of Grand Saline and Bernabe Lopez of North Carolina; five daughters, Linda Lopez of Grand Saline, Martha Lopez of North Carolina, Ana Lopez of North Carolina, Aracely Lopez of Mexico, and Veronica Nunez of Grand Saline; three brothers, Carlos Lopez of Virginia, Alejo Lopez of Mexico, and Eleazar Lopez of Mexico; numerous grandchildren and other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Oscar Lopez, Jose Luis, Leo Lopez, Ivan Lopez, Oliver Lopez, and Timoteo Alvarado. Rosary will be 6 - 8 pm, Friday, July 21, 2017 at Bartley Funeral Home.
