Beverly Sloan

Services for Beverly Kitchens Sloan, 61, Grand Saline, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Creagleville Cemetery. Ms. Sloan passed away December 2, 2019 in Grand Saline. She was born September 2, 1958, in Grand Saline to John D. & Mary Frances Malone Kitchens. She spent all of her life in Grand Saline where she was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, John Kitchens; sister, Mary Martin; and brother, Johnny Wayne Kitchens. Survivors include her mother, Mary Kitchens of Grand Saline; two sons, Jared Sloan and wife Mary of Grand Saline and Jason Sloan and wife Amber of Grand Saline; brother, Ronnie Kitchens and wife Lynn of Grand Saline; three sisters, Patricia Goggans and husband Terry of Alba, Linda Keith and husband James of McKinney, and Dorothy Meyers and husband Kenneth of Kilgore; five grandchildren, Andrea Delarosa, Lane Sloan, Jayden Sloan, Zayden Sloan and Slayde Hutcherson; and numerous other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Kinne Gaston, Kris Chelette, Cory Savallo, Craig Martin, Tim Kitchens and Cody Kitchens. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. The family will meet for lunch at the Old School Museum on North Green Street at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday prior to the service. The building will be open by 9:00 a.m. All are welcome to join the family. Thank you all for your prayers and outpouring of love during this time.
