Nevia "Granny" Seely, 84, Grand Saline, passed away November 19, 2019. She was born December 21, 1934 in Athens. Mrs. Seely retired from AT&T, as an accountant, after 38 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents; HT & Bertha Hickman; brothers, Larry Hickman, James Hickman, Paul Hickman, Henry Hickman and J.T. Hickman; sisters, Ruby Gunstanson and Jean Coldiron; grandson, Brian Seely; and great-granddaughter, Dakota Jacobs. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Robert H. Seely of Grand Saline; son, Gerald Jacobs and wife Pam of Grand Saline; three daughters, Rhonda Blackwell of Irving, Robin Long and husband Doug of Red Oak and Rebecca Seely of Grand Saline; two sisters, Barbra Stanford of Irving and Rita Christopher of Athens; brother-in-law, Langdon Seely; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. The family will be holding services for Mrs. Seely at 1 p.m., Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Church of the Nazarene, 503 N. Line St. Mineola, with Bro. Randy Larpenter officiating.
