Carol Anna Tremmel, 77, of Cypress passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Tuesday June 13, 2017. She was born March 2, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of John Wsol and Anna Skrodenis Wsol. Carol worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago for 35 years where she had many friends before she retired in 1994. In 2003 Carol moved to Houston to be closer to her son and his family. Carol was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt & friend. She was preceded in death by her parents John Wsol & Anna Skrodenis and her brothers John Wsol & Robert Wsol. She is survived by her son Keith Tremmel & his wife Liessel Tremmel, her cherished granddaughter Hailey, whom she adored and counted as one of God's greatest gifts to her. She is also survived by two sisters, Sandra Curtain of Houston and Margaret Shaw of Chicago and countless nieces and nephews. Carol did her best to live each day to the fullest, despite various medical ailments. Her greatest joy was being able to spend time with her family. A celebration of her life will be privately held in her honor.
