Charles Berry Williams II, 48, passed from this life on Thursday August 6th, 2020, at home in the loving care of his family after a six month battle with cancer. Berry was born in Houston, Texas and in November of 1995 he married Charlotte, the love of his life. They were inseparable from the beginning and would continue to grow stronger together as each year passed. They would endure many hardships and would experience great love. Berry was a kind and thoughtful soul. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going on family vacations, as well as watching and playing sports. Berry had the utmost respect and love for all of nature and God’s creations, especially all of the family pets. He worked in grocery and retail starting in high school and throughout his life. Berry was preceded in death by his mother, Janie Morgan Williams and maternal grandparents, Lillian and Leon Strealy; his father, Joel Hardy Williams and paternal grandparents, Charles Berry and Zelma Williams; and maternal aunt Charolette Morgan Terrell. Berry is survived by his wife, Charlotte Williams; his children, Corbin and Courtney Williams; his maternal aunt Kitty Milliorn; his paternal aunts Lynn Klatt and Charlene Young; and many cousins. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, and friend, and he will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 28 at 11:00 am in the Sanctuary of Second Baptist Church at 6400 Woodway Dr. Houston, TX 77055. The service will be available via live stream.
