Johnny’s greatest love in life was his daughter Zoey; The Houston Texans came in at a close second. He was a self-made man of simple pleasures; a cold beer, a hot meal, and good company. Johnny had a reputation for being a jokester, a good dancer, and having a big heart. He was always one to give what he could to those in need; participating in many fundraisers and charity cook offs in his community, or sharing small acts of kindness, like buying his workers Christmas hams for their families. Before he was Zoey’s dad, he was step dad to Marisol, big brother to Tito (Leonardo Araiza III), and son to Carmen & Leonardo Araiza Jr. He leaves behind a large blended family including two step-grandchildren, four nieces and nephews, and many extended family members & friends by whom he was also loved.
