KELLY LYNN CLAGHORN, 54, my beloved daughter, was suddenly taken from me, Phyllis Claghorn, on January 24, 2016. She is survived by her sister, Lisa McClintock, brother, Chris Claghorn, aunt and uncle Kathleen and Peter Garrett, and cousin Melissa Garrett. Cousin Matthew Garrett preceded her in death by 5 days. She is survived by her father, James Claghorn. As a young woman Kelly was an accomplished ice skater and participated in competition as a member of the Galleria Ice Skating Club in Houston, TX. Later, she found her greatest joy in music which led her to love the church and Jesus Christ. Kelly was a gentle soul, capable of great love and generosity. Last Christmas, she presented me with the most beautiful ring I have ever owned and which will remain on my hand forever, as she wished. Thank you, my beautiful child.
