Robin R. (Bobby) Lewis Sr, 81, of Galveston, died peacefully in Cypress, Texas. He was born in Schenectady, NY in 1935. His family moved to Galveston in 1947. In his youth, he was a lifeguard with Galveston Beach Patrol. He spent a long career as a pipe fitter & heavy equipment operator at Amoco in Texas City. He was an avid bowler, participating in many leagues and tournaments throughout his life. He was also an avid fisherman. He is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Robin & Debra Lewis, of Spring, his grandchildren, Robin Lewis III, Rebecca Waggoner &Jessica Lewis. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and other relatives.
