Samantha Wilson (Kamionka), 40, of Wyoming, PA, and formerly Reisterstown, MD, departed this life on Monday, March 28, 2016, due to complications from diabetes in Houston, TX, where she moved in August of this year. She is survived by her devoted husband, Aaron B. Wilson, of Washington, DC. In addition to her husband, she is survived by Nicholas Leon, her son, her mother Ann Kamionka, brothers John (Chico) Kamionka, Ronald Kamionka and Christopher Kamionka (Carolyn) sister Joanne (Kamionka) Coolbaugh (Michael), Mother-In-Law Carole Wilson, Father-In Law David Wilson, Brother-In-Law Jonathan Wilson, nieces Jordan Dean, Sydney Wilson and Holly Kamionka, nephews David Kamionka (Lea-Ann), Bobby Kamionka, Michael, Jr., Matthew, Morgan and Exeter Coolbaugh, and grandniece Sky Kamionka. She was pre-deceased by her father, Joseph Kamionka. She and her brother John (Chico) Kamionka were taken in as foster children by Ann and Joseph Kamionka at an early age and later adopted by them when Samantha was ten years old. Samantha graduated from Wyoming Area High School in Exeter, PA, in 1993, and thereafter attended the College Misericordia in Dallas, PA from 1994-1995. Samantha served in the United States Army at Fort Benning, GA, from 1995 to 1997, when she received an honorable discharge. She provided administrative support for the entire battalion. Samantha later worked as a leasing specialist for United Dominion Realty Trust in Ellicott City, MD, as an administrative assistant at Buser Realty in Catonsville, MD, as a loan officer for National Fidelity Mortgage Corporation in Baltimore, MD, as an administrative assistant for Coldwell Banker Real Estate & Mortgage Services in Eldersburg, MD, and, more recently, before moving to Houston, as a Visiting Angel in Carroll County, MD, taking elderly clients for doctors' visits, helping them buy groceries, and cooking food for them. On June 25, 2006, she married her husband Aaron Wilson, who she met when he was giving a speech to a Baltimore Ravens booster club. Samantha was a talented, creative cook, who shared her passion for great food with her family and the community. Not only did she cook for her family, she also made Christmas cookies every year with her nieces, Sydney and Jordan, Jonathan’s daughters. Each year, she also made countless pumpkin pies from scratch from an old family recipe for family, friends, and the teams that Aaron covered, the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans. She was also a finalist on the Rachael Ray Show in 2013, where she won a complete set of cookware. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM, on Saturday, April 2, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 101 Church Lane, Pikesville, MD 21208. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org. Samantha was a kind, wonderful, beautiful person with a great sense of humor. She is missed greatly.
