<p>Serena Lavoun Evans Romero, 43 of Jacinto City, died Jan 1, 2016 of a sudden illness. She was born September the 4TH,1972 to Janice Irene Evans and Steven Rey Gantt in Pasadena, Texas. She was preceded in death by her grand parents Euin Perry Evans and LaVoun Jeanette Lotshaw Evans.</p><p> After almost completing her education in the clerical medical profession, her health began to deteriorate. She eventually had to quit school and work and stay home as a homemaker and a member of The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints.</p><p> She is survived by her husband Andrew Romero and four sons Andrew, Spencer, Anthony, Brendan and her mother, Janice Irene Evans and brother Nathan Reece Minter. Also is also survived by two aunts, several uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. She also has one great uncle from Ropesville, Texas, Kenneth Evans who served in the army during WWII in France. Services were held Jan 8, 2016 at 14404 Kemrock Houston, Texas 77015 The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints at 12pm.. Burial was at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton, Texas under the direction of Integrity Funeral Care.</p>
