<p>Charolette Leah Merten passed unexpectedly at approximately 7:40am, Thursday March 3, 2016 in Huffman, Texas at the age of 52. Cause to be determined.</p><p><br></p><p>She was born October 26, 1963 to Billy A. & S. Ellen Flahrity at Tidelands Hospital, Channelview, Texas. Charolette graduated from North Shore Senior High School in 1981. She was a lifelong resident of the Houston area and she worked as a Team Leader Posting at Gulf Coast Billing. Her two children and 2 grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, was her life.</p><p><br></p><p>She enjoyed baking, putting puzzles together, working word puzzles, reading, garage sales, watching any paranormal programs besides Family Feud, Americas Funniest Videos and Rock & Roll music. She had an awesome smile, everyone enjoyed being around her and said she was an awesome person.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her 2 children Stephanie Rhannon Walter & Cale Ryan Merten; 2 grandchildren Autum Rayne & Draven Ray Walter; her father Billy A. Flahrity; two sisters, Carla L. McLeod & G. Charlene McManas; brother-in-law Johnny McManas; her niece S. Danielle Flahrity; a lifelong friend and a part of the family James Worthington; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. And her ex-husband James & wife-in-law Michelle Merten and his family members.</p><p><br></p><p>She is preceded in death by her mother Sarah Ellen Flahrity; grandparents Elmer Logan and Smoky and Laura Flahrity along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.</p><p><br></p><p>A Memorial Service is being held Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 2PM at the McLeod residence, 8706 Pines Place Dr., Humble, TX 77346. </p><p><br></p>Obituary
