David Hurst
DAVID DUANE HURST David Duane Hurst, age 66, returned to live with Heavenly Father on January 20, 2010. He was born June 19, 1943, in Odessa, TX to Lee Avis Reeves and David Edison Hurst. He is preceded in death by both parents and his brothers Norman and Noel. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Jo Ann , his daughter Sonya Carper and husband Evan Carper, son Roland Duane Hurst and wife Catalina, and son Michael Hurst. He is also survived by his twin brother Daniel Hurst, and brother Robert Sterling. His 8 grandchildren will miss him tremendously: Corey Williams, Kayla Carper, David Hurst, Cassidy Hurst, Jordanne Carper, Chloe Hurst, Josette Carper, and Taylor Carper. David’s life was spent in loving service to his family, close friends, country, and 106 foster children. A memorial service will be held in his honor at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4202 Yellowstone Dr., Pasadena, TX, at 5:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 26, 2010.
