In Memory of Juanita Holt September 30, 1931 November 15, 2020 Juanita Moore Holt, 89, of Kingwood, Texas, passed away on November 15, 2020 with her family by her side. Juanita was born in Memphis, Tennessee to William and Verda Moore. After the death of her father, Juanita and her mother moved to Louisiana to live with her Aunt and Uncle for several years. Her mother’s job transferred them to Eudora, Arkansas where Juanita met Bruce. They started dating while they were in the Junior play. Juanita Graduated from Eudora High School in May 1947 at the age of 16 and went on to Draughon’s Business College in Memphis, Tennessee where she earned the certification for General Business and Machines on May 18, 1948. Juanita married Bruce Foster Holt on Nov. 26, 1949 in Eudora, Arkansas. Juanita and Bruce have lived in Arkansas, Louisiana, Wyoming, and Texas. They were married for 46 years before Bruce’s death in 1996. Juanita was baptized at Forest Cove Baptist Church on July 11, 1976. She became very involved with the church and attended Joy of Living Bible study for many years. Her love for the Lord started at a very young age and her faith never wavered. Romans 4:20 Yet he did not waver through disbelief in the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God. While working at Pasadena Memorial Hospital, Juanita and Bruce adopted a beautiful son, Foster, on July 1, 1965. She was an amazing mom who loved her son very much. She has 2 wonderful grandchildren, Caryl and Daniel and 3 amazing great-grandchildren who call her Gigi. She went to San Jacinto College in 1977 and became a Nursing Home Administrator. During Juanita’s career life she has worked for Ford Motor Company, NASA during Apollo Space Program, Yellowstone National Park, and Rosewood Funeral Home. Juanita was a very special lady with a beautiful soul. She made you feel as if you were the most important person to her. No matter where you took her, she always knew somebody. Juanita dedicated her life to the Lord and service of others. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Foster Holt, parents William and Verda Moore, Stepfather Carroll Gamble, and brother William Moore, JR., Juanita is survived by Son, Foster Holt (Michele): Grandchildren Caryl Woods (Jason) and Daniel Holt. Great-Grandchildren, Avery Woods, Jace Woods and Addison Woods. Nephew, Bob Moore (Linda), Niece, Sherry McCaleb (David), and Many friends and brothers & sisters in Christ. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
