Lella Kelly

Faye Kelly, a kind soul of New Caney, Texas died peacefully on October 12th, 2019 at the age of 79. She was born in Nacogdoches, Texas to Alvin and Effie Baker. She survived by her children and grandson who gracefully took care of her day-to-day. She was happily married to George S Kelly, who predeceased her on September 11th, 2009. At the time of her death, he would have been her partner in life for 52 years. Besides spending time with family and friends, she had a passion for hunting, fishing and working in the yard. She never met a stranger and welcomed everyone with open arms. She was a Granny to all. A devoted Baptist, calm and serene in her faith. She touched many lives with her generosity. She will be deeply missed. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Granny’s life on Friday October 18th at 2pm at Rosewood funeral home located at 22271 US-59, New Caney, Texas 77357. “If you want to touch the past, touch a rock.
