Bettye Steele

HURST -- Betty McGlohen Steele passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012, in Euless. Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Forest Ridge Funeral Home. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Midway Cemetery in Corsicana. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Bettye was born May 30, 1931. She was a past matron of Hurst Chapter OES, a member of Richland Hills Chapter OES and a member of Rithmah Temple 93, Daughters of the Nile. The family would like to extend its heartfelt appreciation to Kathy Jones, hospice nurse Julie and the staff of Jack's Place Elder Care for their love and compassion during this difficult time. Bettye was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Survivors: She is lovingly survived by her husband of 57 years, Bobby J. "Bob" Steele; daughters, Beverley and husband, Ernest Couch, and Becky and husband, Joe Quattrochi; grandchildren, Angela and Jacob Quattrochi; and several nieces and nephews.
