Charlene Magee HURST, Texas Obituary

Charlene Magee

Charlene Julia Magee passed away in Bedford on Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at the age of 75 years. Charlene was born on Dec. 12, 1937, in Cuero to Edward and Lucile Sophie Emma Ruschhaupt. She was a vibrant senior citizen and was proud of her ability to be independent. This enabled her to always give back to society, family and friends. Apart from being an avid community volunteer, she was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She cared deeply about the earth and all its creatures as was shown through the love she had for her faithful companion, Sammy J. She was able to find something beautiful in every day, including days most of us would call a very tough day. Her theory was: what to do when you don't know what to do . . . Get a better education and make tea. She was a devoted Christian and lived life bravely; facing adversity with a strong will and determination. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Julia Ellen Magee of La Vernia and Kenneth Andrew Magee of Keller; grandchildren, Taylor Price Magee and Kathrann Julia Magee; her faithful companion, Sammy J.
