Daniel Edward Slayden EULESS -- Daniel Edward Slayden passed away Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015, at his residence. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Forest Ridge Funeral Home, 705 Airport Freeway, Hurst. Visitation: The family will receive friends 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Dan was born Nov. 9, 1947, in Dallas to Joseph and Nellie Slayden. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. Survivors: Wife, Kathryn; son, Robert Brown; daughters, Dana Slayden, Tamitha Slayden, Ariel Goodman, Michelle Gross, Mary Kersten and Hope Slayden; sisters, Evelyn Miller and Patricia Lancaster; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
