Dennis Hunt

Dennis Russell Hunt Sr., 75, of Lucas, Texas, passed away, Friday, January 23, 2015 at his home. LUCAS, TX - Dennis was born January 6, 1940 in Riverside, New Jersey to Russell and Laura (Beckman) Hunt. He graduated from Pemberton High School in 1958 and attended Campbell College and graduated from the University of North Carolina. On September 16,1967 he married Jeannette Ann Dorsey in Chicago, Illinois. Dennis was employed as a steel specialist and territory manager with Signode for 29 years. He was a Freemason and Shriner holding the office of secretary and treasurer of Hurst Masonic lodge in Texas. He was President of the Kiwanis club in Lansing, Illinois and President of Mended Hearts Organization in Hurst, Texas. He had a great interest in history and genealogy and was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend to all. Dennis is survived by his wife Jeannette, of 47 years, daughter Dorsey Ann Hunt, son Dennis Hunt, wife Devon, loving grandchildren, Griffin, Garrett, and Brighton Hunt, brother Richard Hunt, wife Janet, nephew Richard and niece Laura, and niece Christine Palmentieri, husband Michael, brother-in-law Francis Dorsey, wife Diane, niece Megan Gabriel, husband Charles and niece Sara Dorsey, nephews William Berlinn, John Berlinn, wife Eva, and Kristian Berlinn, wife Jacqueline, nieces Deborah Berlinn Lightel, and Dorsey Rose Berlinn Marchello, husband Ronald, and many precious great nieces and nephews. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Bette Hunt Harmon, and brother in law Elwood T Harmon, and numerous Aunts and Uncles. A memorial service will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church 3717 Harwood Road Bedford Texas at 1:00pm January 28th 2015.
