Edwin Wellman

Edwin T. Wellman went on to be with the Lord August 10, 2015. Funeral Service: 10am Tuesday at Forest Ridge Funeral Home, 705 Airport Frwy, Hurst. Visitation Monday 6-8pm at the funeral home. Interment: Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Ed was born in Dallas on August 13th 1926. He grew up in Dallas and was an alumni of Crozier Technical, a World War II veteran stationed in Germany and married sixty-seven years to the love of his life, Midge Wellman. Ed worked in the Aerospace industry as a tool design engineer and retired from Bell Helicopter. He was a Master Mason for sixty years with the Grand Lodge of Texas and a member of Saint Philip Presbyterian Church of Hurst. Ed was preceded in death by his son Warren Wellman and son Rogat Keller, his mother and father, and his two brothers. Ed is survived by his wife, Midge Wellman; daughter-in-law, Vicki Wellman; grandchildren, Jennifer Wellman, Matthew Wellman and his wife Sarah, Samantha Pickering, Lisa Powers and husband Cliff, and James Kemp; and eleven great grandchildren.
