Frank Reese
Frank T. Reese died Tuesday, June 17, 2014. Frank was the second son of Thomas and Madde Reese, born on June 14, 1916, in Hazelton, Pa. He graduated from Hazelton High and attended Washington and Lee University. He was employed by American Airlines in 1940 and retired in 1981 as director of flight operations. During 1942-1945, he served with the Air Transport Command in the North Pacific and Europe as a navigator. Frank and Alice enjoyed traveling throughout Europe and the South Pacific. They were avid collectors of the Victorian period. Frank was preceded in death by son, Richard, and brother, Don. Survivors: Wife of 72 years, Alice; Don's sons, Tom and David; son, Rod and wife, Lynne; daughter-in-law, Wina; grandchildren, Kai Ball and husband, Nate, Jason Reese and wife, Jill; Richard's daughter, Jenny Merrill and husband, Lee; and 10 great-grandchildren.Obituary
