Hazel Marie Knadler McDonald, age 92, currently residing in Flower Mound, passed away at Cross Timbers Medical Center of natural causes on November 5, 2016. Hazel’s memorial service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016, at 2pm, at Forest Ridge Funeral Home in Hurst, Texas. Hazel loved children so very much, the family is requesting that instead of flowers, donations be made to Compassion International at www.compassion.com or 800.336-7676. Hazel was Born in Clinton, Oklahoma on May 26, 1924, to parents George Knadler and Esther Suppe Knadler. She resided in the Texas area of the last 43 years of her life. Hazel loved God, was dedicated to her family and used humor to diffuse difficult and painful situations in her life. She saw the good in each individual who crossed her path and was known for being kind and loving to all around her. She leaves an irreplaceable void in our family. She is survived by: daughters Glenda Faulkner Woodliff and husband, Don Woodliff of North Richland Hills, and Melody Luke and husband, Chris Luke of Seagoville. Grandson Alex Lazar of Houston. Grandson Jeff Faulkner of Austin, Granddaughter Alycia Routzon of Highland Village, Grandsons Anthony Luke, Benjamin Luke, and granddaughter Cyndi Luke of Seagoville. Great grandsons Donald Goldsmith, Reed Faulkner, Bryce Goldsmith, Elliott Lazar, Graham Faulkner, and great granddaughter Abigail Lazar.
