James Davenport

EULESS -- JD Davenport, 50, passed on to be with his heavenly Father on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2012. Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Forest Ridge Funeral Home in Hurst. Interment: Bear Creek Cemetery in Euless. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, 4100 Alpha Road, Suite 100, Dallas, Texas 75244. JD was born July 11, 1961, in Dallas. He lived most of his life in Euless and was a graduate of Trinity High School, class of 1979. He worked for Bank of America. JD enjoyed his family, coaching kids, riding his motorcycle, fishing, writing poetry and smoking a good cigar! His life ended too soon. JD will be deeply missed by all and will forever remain in our hearts and lives. The world is a better place, having JD in it. JD was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Ann Garlington. Survivors: Daughter, Kathryn; son, Chuck; wife, Melody; sisters, Susan Taggart and Ronda Canfield; father, James; and a large extended family.
