EULESS -- James Dunlap passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013, in Bedford at the age of 55 years. Service: 10 a.m. Thursday at Shady Oaks Baptist Church, 1336 Cavender Drive, Hurst, 76053. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Ridge Funeral Home. James was born in Fort Worth on Nov. 28, 1957, to Mark and Doris Dunlap. He was a kind and gentle man, known to be "kind to a fault." He had many friends and interests, loved working in his shop, spending time with his family and friends and playing with his dogs. He worked for the city of Fort Worth for many years and was currently employed with Bice's Florist in Hurst. He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Dunlap. Survivors: Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Sherry Dunlap; his mother, Doris Dunlap; his children, James Dunlap, Jamie Park and Rebecca Smith; brothers, Marcus Dunlap, William Dunlap and David Dunlap; extended family; many friends; and faithful companions, Dash and Nuggett.
