James Johnson

James Martin Johnson, 82, of Chandler, Texas passed away on May 13th after heart issues. He was born on August 28th, 1934 in Kerens, Texas in Navarro County. Service will be held at Dallas National Cemetery 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Tx 75211 on May 26th at 11am. A family and friends gathering will take place afterwards at the home of Brittany and Nathan Fowlkes, address 4301 Eagleglen Dr, Ft Worth, Tx 76244. James grew up in Kerens Tx. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954-1962 as a drill instructor. He spent many years working in the insurance business. James was a devout child of God who loved to read his bible. He enjoyed fishing and golf, the outdoors and spending time with his grand kids. James is survived by his sister Nona Bordeaux, son Deron and wife Kristi Johnson, grandchildren Brittany(Nathan) Fowlkes, Brandy (Keith) DeMont, Jordan (Brittney) Johnson, Robert Ramos, Paul Nelson and great grandchildren, Mia Johnson, Weston and Ryder Fowlkes. James was preceeded in death by parents Elsie Lucille Murdoch and James William Johnson and sisters Lynn Beggiato, Mary Elouise Carter, sons James Michael Johnson, Ben Clayton Johnson and grandson Brandon Lee Johnson.
