Jane Schwertz
BEDFORD -- Jane Schwertz, 87, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015.
Service: Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Michael Catholic Church in Bedford. Visitation: the family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Forest Ridge Funeral Home in Hurst, with a prayer vigil to begin at 7 p.m.
Jane was born April 7, 1928, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to the late William J. and Jean Kimmerle. She was a clinical social worker and supervisor for Family and Children Services in Irving. Jane was an active member of St. Michael Catholic Church and served as a Eucharist minister. She also volunteered counseling for the Stephen Ministry. Above all, Jane loved her family.
Survivors: Sons, Jerome J. Schwertz and wife, Marcia Mackin, Robert C. Schwertz and wife, Kim, Lawrence H. Schwertz and wife Michelle, and John F. Schwertz; grandchildren, Carly, Chelsea, Kayla, John and Michael; and great-grandchildren, Wynn and Sophie.
