Joe Bob Garrett, 82, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 9, 2012. He was born in Richland Springs, TX on October 23, 1929 to Anson and Macie Garrett of Richland Springs, TX. He served in the United States Air Force 1950 to 1954. He retired from LTV, Grand Prairie 1990. Service: 10 a.m. Saturday at South Euless Baptist Church, 1000 Simmons Drive, Euless. Internment: 4 p.m. Saturday in Richland Springs Cemetery, Richland Springs. Visitation: 6-8pm on Friday at Forest Ridge Funeral Home. Survivors: Beloved wife of 57 years, Wanda K. Garrett; daughter, Kathy Jo Buzzard and husband, Guy, their children Addyson & Anna of Grapevine TX; granddaughter, April JoAnn Moody and husband, Russell, of San Saba; sister, Doris Korenek, Richland Springs TX; brother, Samuel A. Garrett, Richland Springs, TX; Kathy A. Adams, Fritch Kid. Preceded in death by his son, Marcus A. Garrett, Euless TX and his parents.
