Karen Overstreet

Karen "KK" Overstreet, 40, of Fort Worth, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015. Funeral: 12:30 pm Thursday, April 23, at Forest Ridge Funeral Home Visitation: 5 to 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Entombment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. She was born Karen Kay Acosta on Dec. 3, 1974, in Fort Worth to Roy A. and Schretta Queen Acosta. As a child she loved to go to work with her father and stop for ice cream on the way. Karen married Jason Overstreet on Sept. 25, 1993 in Haltom City. Karen had a passion for photography in all of its forms. She captured many of the beauties of this world with a camera, lightning being one of her favorites. Karen was a giving person with a huge heart, volunteering her photography talent with many.
