Kay Huser Bookout

Hurst -- Kay Huser Bookout, 79, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Saturday at St. Philip Presbyterian Church, 745 W Pipeline Road, Hurst 76053. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Kay's honor to St. Philip Presbyterian Church or Jack's Place Assisted Living, c/o Kathy Jones, 519 Essex Place, Euless, Texas 76039. Kay was born on Sept. 29, 1935, in Austin. She married her husband, Billy Paul Bookout, in 1957 and the two spent 51 wonderful years together. Kay's husband preceded her in death in 2008. She was a folk artist and a interior designer, which she had a deep passion for. Survivors: Son, William Kyle Bookout and wife, Shawn; daughters, Kendra Bookout Day and husband, Chuck, and Keltie Bookout Lantzy and husband, Mark; grandchildren, Brad and wife, Amy, Stacy and husband, Lance, Josh, Bryan and wife, Caroline, Cody, Gunner, Bo, Brennan, Kylie and Westin; great-grandchildren, Brock, Rhett, Luke, Tyler, Molly Kate, Ariella, Christian, Prudence, Maggie and one on the way.
