Kay Chamberlain Obituary

Kay Chamberlain, 68, passed away, Sunday, August 3, 2014 at The Legends Healthcare Facility in Euless Texas. Kay was born March 4, 1946 in Aberdeen, Mississippi to Luther and Grace Reddell. She graduated from Goliad High School as a salutatorian. Kay earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, majoring in Journalism with a minor in Art. Kay worked as a graphic artist and was the Director of Marketing at Progressive Labs before retiring in 2012. She was an accomplished Country and Western Dancer who won several awards and danced at the State Fair of Texas. Despite being diagnosed with terminal cancer and enduring tremendous pain she fought to the very end. She is an inspiration to us all. Kay is survived by her son, Russel Fulfor and his wife, Lisa, two stepsons, Chad and Chris Chamberlain, two grandchildren, Cassidy and Mason Fulfor, and three step grandchildren, Claire, Anna, and Hope Latawiec. A special thank you is expressed from Kay’s family to Betty Blumburg for all of her care and devotion.
