She won this fight, every single day for the last 6 years. Never once did she complain, feel sorry for herself or allow it to consume her. She is truly the most amazing human being I've ever known and I am so grateful to have had her as my mother. Let her legacy live on, by never giving in to the tough times life can bring. No matter how bad your situation may be, there is always hope. Even in times like these, there is always a light. Survivors: Mother, Ruth Brown; sister, Bonnie Oliphant; son, Eric Massey and wife, Romy; daughter, Jennifer Massey; mother-in-law, Robbie Massey; grandchildren, Cole, Ella and Reid; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.
