Larry Dwain Hirrlinger of North Richland Hills Texas went home peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday January 14, 2013 after a long illness and surrounded by loved ones and friends. Larry, 73, grew up in Macon Missouri and lived a large portion of his life in Blue Springs, Missouri.
Larry loved his wife and family and adored his grandchildren. Larry served his church in many capacities and was active with the Boy Scouts of America having been awarded the Silver Beaver award for service. In the 60’s and 70’s Larry was the CIO for Rival Manufacturing, he later was a branch manager for Moore Business Systems in Missouri, Texas and North Carolina. Larry also enjoyed fishing, football, and college basketball. Larry never met a stranger he didn’t know.
Larry was proceeded in death by his father Darrell F. (Dutch) and mother Kathryn Isabel Hodgin Hirrlinger and is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Frazell Hirringer, sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Brenda of Bedford TX, Patrick and Linda of North Richland Hills, TX, Larry Jr. (Kip) of Sandy UT and James and Jennica of Rexburg, ID, 8 grandchildren, Danielle and husband Chris Marshall, Darrell, Kaitlynn, Colton, Olivia, Lincoln, Isabel, and Tyson, and 1 great grandchild Wyatt. Larry also leaves behind his sister and bother-in-law Virginia and Joe Scroggs of Deepwater, MO, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, as well as many friends.
