Lloyd M. Hudson passed away Monday, April 16, 2012, at home. Lloyd was born on August 13, 1936 in Wichita Falls, TX to George M. and Ruby Hudson. He graduated from W.F. Senior High School and faithfully served in the US Naval Reserve for eight years. He graduated from Draughon's Business School and attended Tarrant County College. He married Jeannine Maroney in 1955. They were blessed with two daughters, Leesa Christian and Karen Harrel. Lloyd was in the ceramic tile industry for over forty years. He was employed with Richardson Tile Company in Wichita Falls and San Antonio and Dalworth Tile Company in Fort Worth. He served as Technical Service Director at Crossville Ceramics out of Crossville, TN. Later, he did consulting work for American Tile and L&M Tile Companies. After retiring from the tile industry, Lloyd worked for Foreman's in Colleyville, TX. He was a Christian and a member of First Baptist Hurst and a life member of the Masonic Lodge #635 in Wichita Falls. Lloyd loved hunting, fishing, golfing, camping, and being involved with his granddaughter, Hannah, and her many activities, including going to her horse shows. Papa will be greatly missed. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Jeannine; daughters, Leesa Christian and Karen Harrel and husband, David; precious granddaughter, Hannah Lee Harrel and grandsons, Scott Harrel & family and Adrian Harrel & family; numerous extended family members and friends.
