HURST -- Maxine C. Charles, 85, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Forest Ridge Funeral Home, Hurst. Interment: Private. Visitation: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Maxine was born Jan. 1, 1929. She was a homemaker and worked various jobs throughout her life along with raising three children, John, Beverly and Karen. Survivors: She is survived by her three children, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
