Irving, TX - Oscar Lee Welch, 59, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at his residence. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Forest Ridge Funeral Home, 705 Airport Freeway in Hurst, TX. Visitation: 5p.m. to 8p.m. Friday, January 24, 2014 at the funeral home. Oscar was born April 15, 1954 in Monroe, Louisiana. He had worked in Law Enforcement and in the Airline Industry for many years. Oscar was preceded in death by his wife, Gisela; brother, Neal; sisters, Ruby, Helen, Billy Jo, Alice and Caldora. Those left to cherish his memory include his sisters, Betty Smith and Clemenstene Theus; brother, Claude Welch and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
