Phyllis Kay Walker, of Saginaw, Texas was born on March 25, 1949 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Jack and Josie Bell (Andrews) Walker. Phyllis grew up and attended school in Hominy where she graduated from Hominy High School in 1967. Soon after graduation Phyllis enrolled in college at Oklahoma State University. On March 30, 1968 Phyllis was united in marriage to John Cross in Hominy, Oklahoma. They made their home in Hominy where she was a homemaker and an employee at the Hominy News Progress. On March 18, 1982 she was united in marriage to Mark Haught in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In her younger days she was an avid bowler and heavily involved in her children's activities. More recently she enjoyed all kinds of sports including Chicago Cubs baseball and NASCAR along with family gatherings. Phyllis passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 in Saginaw, Texas at the age of 63. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her sister Nancy Tucker and her husbands. She is survived by her two sons, Kelly Cross (Kelle) of Rose Hill, KS; Shane Cross (Danae) of Keller, TX; and daughter Lauren Haught Luckert (Micheal) of Hurst, TX; brother Verlin Behne (Audrie) and granddaughters Lindsay Norman and Katie Cross of Keller, TX and Hannah Cross of Rose Hill, KS as well as friends Robert Shields, Mary Kay Murnan and beloved pet Sosa. A celebration of life will be held at the A J Powell Cemetery in Hominy, Oklahoma on Saturday October 6, 2012 at 2:00PM with Rev. Bud Tibbles officiating..
