Rob Barcus passed peacefully in his sleep and went to join his brother, Mike and his sister, Kelly in Heaven on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016. Rob was born on Oct. 14, 1976. He attended LD Bell High School and also took classes at Tarrant County Junior College. He suffered a car accident in 1992 and was severely disabled. He took his handicap in stride. He always knew how to cheer everyone up with his incredible sense of humor. He was brave and wise beyond his years. Service: Celebration of Life: 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at Forest Ridge Funeral Home in Hurst. Survivors: Mother, Kay Farrell; uncles, Donald Thompson and wife, Annette, Hadley Thompson and wife, Lucky, David Thompson and wife, Rose and Ralph Thompson and wife, Denise; aunt, Ellen McGovern; cousin, Cindy McGovern and husband, Ed; and numerous cousins and friends.
