Sallie Butler Thomas died Friday, May 15, 2015. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Harwood Terrace Baptist Church, 3420 Brown Trail, Bedford. Interment: Private. Sallie was born Aug. 13, 1934. She died after a very courageous battle with dementia. The Thomas family have been members of Harwood Terrace Baptist Church for over 40 years. Sallie was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Jack H. Thomas. Survivors: Son, Jack Thomas.
