Veronica Newberry HURST, TX Obituary

Veronica Newberry

Veronica "Ronnee" Kinter Newberry, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed from this life on October 28, 2016 in Fort Worth. The Lord gained a truly beautiful soul. Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Friday at Davis Blvd Baptist Church, 5408 Davis Blvd., North Richland Hills. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Possum Kingdom East Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 343 Graford, TX 76449 pkfire-ems.com, Vitas Hospice in Fort Worth, www.vitas.com, or the Careity Foundation, cariety.org. Veronica was born March 15, 1968 in Georgia at Warner Robins Air Force Base. She graduated from Richland High School in 1986. Ronnee then pursued a life long career as a nail tech. She valued the friendships she developed over the years at the salons. On August 8, 2008 she married William "Bill" Newberry, the love of her life. She adored Bill and treasured every minute they spent together - on the lake, riding motorcycles, traveling, watching ballgames on the patio and spending time with their children and grandchildren. Veronica loved her Boomer Sooners and Texas Rangers. Veronica's personality was as vibrant as her red hair. She never met a stranger and touched so many lives in her short time on this earth. Throughout her three year battle with cancer, she was a warrior! She never complained and continued to do all of the things she loved - living life to its fullest one day at a time. Veronica's smile was contagious and she was smiling as she joined the Lord's angels. Veronica was preceded in death by her late husband Jeff Clayton; mother, Linda Kinter; mother-in-law Rita Clayton. Survivors: husband, Bill Newberry of Hurst; sons, Hunter Clayton of Hurst, Cody Lindsey of Keller, Rodney Lindsey of Dallas; daughters Linsey Green and husband Tim of Corsicana, Emily Gilmore and husband Trey of Weatherford. She was Grannie V to her grandchildren; Judson Green, Kynlee Gilmore, Kolyer Gilmore, and Jaxson Lindsey; father, Ed Kinter of Fort Worth; brother, Matt Kinter and wife Gina; niece, Mattison Kinter; nephew, Grayson Kinter; and father-in-law, Ken Clayton; brother-in-law, Bob Newberry and wife Susan of Abilene. The family wishes to express their most sincere gratitude for the doctors and nurses on the 7th floor of Harris Downtown and the Baylor All Saints Vitas Hospice unit.
