William Clay Ferguson Obituary

William (Bill) Clay Ferguson, Sr. died in his home in Bedford, Texas September 21, 2015. He graduated from Butler High School in Princeton, Kentucky, received his Undergraduate Degree from Austin Peay State University and his Master's Degree from the University of Tennessee. He was a retired Certified Public Accountant. He served in the Air Force in Germany during the Berlin Crisis. He received acclamations in the financial services industry when he developed computer programs that would analyze the condition and performance of banks, holding companies and savings and loan associations. Bill was born in Lyon County, Kentucky on December 9, 1935. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Edna Ferguson of Princeton, Kentucky and his brother, Ronald Ferguson. He is survived by a son, William Clay Ferguson, Jr., and a daughter, Cheryl Ferguson McClellan and husband, Brian, two grand-daughters, Kristen M. Jones and husband Matthew, and Julie M. Easton and husband William, and a great-granddaughter, Kaelyn Jones. A memorial service will be held at1:00 pm Friday, September 25, 2015 at Forest Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, 705 Airport Freeway, Hurst, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the DFW German Shepherd Rescue.
