BEDFORD -- William Anthony Hurlbut, 64, loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 16, 2012. Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church of Euless, 106 N. Main St., Euless. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Forest Ridge Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, a Bill Hurlbut Memorial Fund has been established for his family at Affiliated Bank, 500 Harwood Road, Bedford, Texas 76095, attention: Gale Wagner; or donations may be made to the Bill Hurlbut Memorial Fund at First United Methodist Church of Euless, 106 N. Main St., Euless, Texas 76040. Bill was born April 18, 1948, in North Adams, Mass. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard. Bill was a certified life underwriter and health and long-term care salesman. He was a man of great faith, and he had an amazing love for his community. Bill was a member of First United Methodist Church of Euless and a member of the HEB Chamber of Commerce where he was division chair of the Membership Committee. Bill was a member of the Emmaus Community of Arlington and the Mid-Cities. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Hurlbut. Survivors: Wife, Brenda; daughters, Jenifer Hurlbut and Andrea Seman and her husband, Steven; son, Thomas Hurlbut and wife, Jacquelyn; father, Thomas Hurlbut and wife, Cecelia Swanson; brother, Bruce Hurlbut and wife, Christine; grandchildren, Katy, Elizabeth, Arabella and Lincoln; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Gloria Kiontke; sisters-in-law, Christine Sage and husband, Keith, and Barbara Cordts; numerous extended family members and friends.
