IRVING -- Wiley S. Robinson, 62, passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2013.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Forest Ridge Funeral Home in Hurst, the Rev. Jesse Wilson officiating.
Pallbearers: John Ewell, "James" (Jerry) Armitage, Charlie Martinez, HD Ayers, Cliff Cook, Ed Kuser, Billy Keebler and Packy Watson. Honorary pallbearers: Frankie Miller, Doug Miller, Jim Stinson, Jimmy Eaves, Terry Pack, Jerry Allen, Cody Armitage, John Everett and Cecil Shaw. Interment to follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: Noon to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA, in memory of Wiley Robinson.
Wiley was born Sept. 15, 1950, in Corsicana, to Mr. Wiley D. "Bub" Jr. and Lena Palmeri Robinson. He married Virginia West on March 26, 1983, in Tyler. He attended Navarro Junior College and was an employee of Utility Trailer of Dallas.
Wiley loved God, people, country music and old cars. He was a faithful member of Mid-cities Baptist Temple. He lived life to the fullest for as long as he could with a devotion to country music.
Wiley was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Todd West.
Survivors: Wife, Virginia Robinson; son, Randy West; sister-in-law, Donna Ayers and husband, HD, and family; cousin, Benny DeGeorge and family; pets, his "girls," Candy Kiss, Penny Kay and Maggie; and a host of special friends.
