Barbara Kiolbassa

Barbara Jean Kiolbassa, entered eternal rest on June 4, 2020, at her home in Adkins, Texas, at the age of 73 years. She was born in Richland, Georgia on April 21, 1947, to Perry Urquhart and Beatrice Jones. Jean is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Thomas Urquhart; granddaughter, Traci Lemley; niece, Patty Brightwell Vaughan. She is survived by her husband of over 19 years, Clarence Kiolbassa, as well as her children, Barbara Kinsey (Lori Landry), Cathy Greiner (Clay) and David Lash (Sarah). Jean was a loving grandmother to nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Joyce Marie Gagne and Patsy Wallace; her brother, David Urquhart; brother-in-law, Ken Kiolbassa; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Kiolbassa and Michelle Kiolbassa; special family friend, Mary Kay White; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. A visitation will be held at Finch Funeral Chapel, LaVernia, Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 5:00 pm with Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Memorial Mass Wednesday, June 10, 2020 10:00 am Annunciation of the BVM St. Hedwig, TX Father Bill Zadora will officiate the mass with interment following at Annunciation of the BVM Catholic Cemetery in St. Hedwig.
