Aline Nalona French, 79, passed away, December 13, 2014, in Trinity, Texas. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with Rev. Shane Norcross officiating. Interment will follow in the Prairie Grove Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 12-2 p.m., Tuesday, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Aline was born September 9, 1935 in Mexia, Texas to Emmett and Willie Mae Jordan DeBorde. She worked for many years as a clerk for an auto dealer. Aline married, the love of her life, Ralph Lloyd French on July 16, 1952 in Texas City, Texas; to this union, they were blessed with three children, John, Cecil and Joyce. Her family was her pride and joy. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Although Aline loved spending time with her family, shopping was her favorite hobby. She was always ready and willing to go shopping at any time and as often as possible. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph; daughter, Joyce Ann Young; grandson, Michael Young; and brother, James "Doc" DeBorde. Aline is survived by her two sons, John French and wife, Donna of Trinity and Cecil French and wife, Stephanie of Crosby; four grandchildren, Joel French, Tommy French, Ashley French and Becki French; two great-granddaughters, Baileigh and Callie and her first great-grandson, Jayden due to arrive in February 2015; and sister, Carolyn Poehl and husband, Carvel of Friday, TX.
