Mrs. Annie Marie Neuse, 89, of Shiloh passed away February 6, 2009 in Teague. Graveside services for Mrs. Neuse will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 8, 2009 in the Shiloh Cemetery with Mr. Neil Bond officiating. Annie Marie Neuse was born January 28, 1920 to George and Annie Bradley Thornton in Shiloh. She was a nurse for over 60 years. Mrs. Neuse was suited for the nursing career as she loved caring for people. She was so thankful to God for helping her throughout her life and told her family that some day she would see him and thank him in person. God was her strength throughout life. Mrs. Neuse was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She, also, had a great love for dogs and all animals. Mrs. Neuse was a longtime member of the Shiloh Baptist Church. Mrs. Neuse was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Raymond A. Neuse in 1997, her parents and eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by her three sons and their families, Ray Neuse of Huntsville, Danny Neuse of Wichita Falls and Mike Neuse of Corpus Christi; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Nix, Tyler Nix, Junior Douglas, Bill Winlan and Arso Ratcliff. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Teague Nursing Home.
