Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Lois Miller, 98, former Limestone County resident, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2006 in Coolidge Cemetery Chapel. Rev. Billy Bruton will officiate with the eulogy given by a granddaughter, Jo Anna Miller of Atlanta, Georgia. Interment will follow in the Coolidge Cemetery. Mrs. Miller was born September 17, 1907 in Mexia to L. J. and Mary Ann Spakes Mills, and lived most of her life in Limestone County, moving to Longview five years ago. She worked in the arts and crafts department of the Mexia State School and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coolidge. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, H. C. Miller in 1974, a son, Joe Paul Miller and a sister, Clara Wade. Survivors are a sister, Turzie Howell of Longview, a brother and sister in law, Marvin (Pete) Mills and wife, Dorothy Trotter Mills of Groesbeck, granddaughter, Jo Anna Miller of Atlanta, Georgia;and daughter in law, Jennie Miller of Brunswick, Georgia.
