Billy Frank Mills, 81, of Mexia passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013 in Mexia. Billy was born July 29, 1931 in Coolidge to James Elmer and Arie Mae Carroll Mills Billy married Dixie L. Neale on July 30, 1951 and they were married close to 60 years before her death in 2011. He enjoyed a long career with Shell Oil and Exxon Oil Company and retired as a seismograph crew foreman. Billy was preceded in death by his wife Dixie, son, Doug Mills, brother, Roger Mills and sister, Dorothy Marshall. Survivors include his son Paul Mills and wife Lana of Waco, Grandson Jason Mills and wife Rhonda and their son Ty of Mexia and Granddaughter, Jamie Padro and husband David and their daughter Eve of Maryland, Grandson, Giles Mills of Corpus Christi and his three children, Avery, Martina and Bailey Mills. He is also survived by four sisters, Linda, Barbara, Mary and Brenda and two brothers, David and Darrell and by a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in the Cotton Gin Cemetery with the Reverend Tom Prentiss officiating.
