Braddie Mae Pruett, 104, of Jewett entered into heaven from her earthly home on October 1, 2010. Funeral services will be 4 PM, Monday, October 4, 2010 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with Rev. Ray Grissett officiating. Interment will follow in the Lost Prairie Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Braddie was born May 13, 1906 in Limestone County to Clark Anderson and Emma Mae (Boaz) Wright. She was lifelong resident of Limestone County. Braddie spent her life caring for her family. Not only was she a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, she was an inspiration to her family. Braddie was a Christian woman and it was evident in the way she lived her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Jewett. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Hillmon Pruett; son, Auby Pruett; grandson, Rickey Pruett; brothers, Rufus Wright, Jesse Wright and Edgar Ainsworth; and sister, Minnie Martin. Braddie is survived by her granddaughter, Sonja Pruett of Jewett; grandsons, Garland and Daniel Pruett of Jewett; great-grandchildren, Todd Pruett and wife, Anna and Kim Berryhill and husband, Rick; six great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Earline Owen of Donie. Pallbearers will be Todd Pruett, Rick Berryhill, Bradley Berryhill, Ethan Bodnar, Kenneth Copeland and Michael Grissett.
