Callie Vianna Ferguson, 93, passed away June 9, 2011 at her home in Waco. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel in Mexia with Rev. Michael Vestal officiating. Interment will be in the LaSalle Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m., Friday at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Callie was born July 29, 1917 in Freestone County, Texas to Oscar and America Jane Ezell Allison. She was a seamstress and a homemaker. She devoted her life to caring for her family. Callie was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Bellmead. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Recil Ferguson; and son, Tommie Ferguson. Survivors include her children, Clarence Ferguson and wife, Carmelitta , Evelyn Clark and husband, Jack, James Ferguson and wife, Linda, Betty Tabor, Callie Lanford and husband, Larry, Bobbie McCormick and husband, Gary all of Waco, Jearl Ferguson and wife, Karan of Austin and Recil Ferguson, Jr. and wife, Cindy of Mt. Calm; 28 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Lois Roberts of Houston. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Pridemore, Russell Bullock, William Busch, Jr., Louis Tabor, Johnny Ferguson, Robert Ferguson, Steve Ferguson and Jeffery Ferguson.
