Graveside services for Mr. Carl Lee Burnett, Sr. will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 29, 2008 in the Lost Prairie Cemetery. Rev. J. R. Tapley will officiate. He was born on January 4, 1937 to Monroe and Sarah Burnett in Yantis, Texas. He was employed by Industrial Service Supply as a truck driver for 30 years. He had been a resident of Whitney, Texas for 20 years. He is survived by daughters, Sharon B. Carroll and husband, Rickey of Mabank, Tx., Carla Enderby of Tawokani, Tx. and Carolyn Farmer of San Angelo, Tx.; son Carl Burnett, Jr. of Allen, Tx.; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Juanita Rackler of Dallas, Tx., Mary Jo Conners of Iowa Park, Tx.; brothers, D. E. Burnett of Grand Prairie, Tx.and Marion Burnett of Mabank, Tx. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughters, Marie King and Peggy Whatley; brothers, Howell Wayne Burnett and Dewey Burnett.
